Client computers must be on a network and be able to run Java 11 applications (Java need not be preinstalled). Basically any standard admin / office PC or Notebook running Windows or Mac OS should do.
An extra PC is required, to store the EMR data, with remote access software (like TeamViewer) for support. (This does not need to be an independent computer, it can be an existing server if you have one.)
A scanner to scan in your letterhead and signature, as well as any physical patient documents (lab results, references, etc) you may want to store in the EMR program.
Please note that we do not provide any of the above hardware.
1. When the extra PC is ready we will do the EMR database installation via remote access (day 1).
2. The EMR software can then be installed on all the user workstations (day 2).
3. We then add user accounts, your letter-head and signature, as well as any other preferences that may need changing (day 2 and 3).
4. The software is intuitive, requiring minimal training, and we remain onhand just a phone call or email away providing continuous support and updates.
